The former country estate of the third Duke of Marlborough, The Langley will be a luxury hotel and spa set in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. As sister hotel to The Wellesley Knightsbridge, London’s finest boutique-grand hotel, it offers the same level of luxury and exclusivity but with its own unique character and setting.
Sitting in a former royal hunting ground and with landscaping originally designed by England’s greatest gardener, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, the setting of this grand country manor amidst acres of formal gardens and parklands, including an English Heritage listed Lebanon cedar tree, offers an escape where time slows and natural beauty bounds.
The hotel’s boutique selection of 41 exquisite rooms and suites are to be designed by Dennis Irvine Studio with the height of sophistication and refinement in mind.
The rooms will be divided across the main house and The Brew House, a Grade II listed 18thcentury outbuilding. In keeping with its heritage, many of the building’s original features have been painstakingly re-established. Baroque fireplaces and ornate doorways are found throughout the property, balancing its rich history with contemporary luxury.
A collection of exclusive dining experiences will await guests at The Langley, including a signature restaurant with an acclaimed chef at the helm, as well as an intimate bar specialising in the finest cognac and cigars.
The Langley Spa, a world-class wellness center will feature an indoor and outdoor pool, thermal area and five expansive treatment rooms. A specially designed fitness suite by leading personal trainer and author, Matt Roberts will use technologically advanced systems and equipment.
